Situated deep in Seweweekspoort — a dramatic mountain pass just off Route 62 between Ladismith and Calitzdorp — Aristata is the only place to stay in the poort itself. While other establishments trade on the Seweweekspoort name, we are the real thing: a working farm set right inside the pass, surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs, fynbos-covered slopes, and the crystal-clear Seweweekspoort River.
Our self-catering cottages offer a peaceful escape for those who love the outdoors — hikers, rock climbers, birders, and anyone who simply needs to breathe.
